Screaming Biden says Democrats ‘are the ones funding cops’ at gun event where he butchers J.D. Vance’s name and says Americans couldn’t own a cannon in the 18th century
President Joe Biden on Thursday yelled that Democrats ‘are the ones funding cops’, referred to Kamala Harris as ‘boss’ and called J.D Vance ‘Secretary’ at a White House event about gun violence.
Biden was flanked by Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, and went after both GOP nominee, former President Donald Trump, and his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance.
But the 81-year-old referred to the vice presidential contender as ‘Secretary Vance of Ohio.’
Then when he was signing the executive order on exploring new measures to regulate 3D printed guns and examine the best way to implement active-shooter drills at schools.
‘Keep it going, boss,’ Biden told Harris, the third time he’s referred to her in such a way since she took over as nominee.
Biden has mistakenly referred to Democratic presidential nominee Harris as the ‘president’ on at least seven occasions.
‘Look folks, I taught Constitutional law for years. Constitutional law. Never was the Second Amendment meant to be absolute,’ the president said. ‘Back when it was passed, you could not own a cannon,’ he claimed.
The president then mumbled through the quote, ‘The liberty of America is watered with the blood of patriots.’
‘Like hell,’ he told the East Room audience. ‘I’m serious. Think about it. Think about it. It was never absolute. Never, never, never.’

Historically, Republicans have pointed to the Second Amendment – the right to bear arms – to oppose gun control measures.
Biden said he wanted to see more funding for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
‘We get a lot of heat from the other guy – she got a lot of heat from the other guy,’ he said, speaking of Harris. ‘Talking about, ‘we’re not helping …’ We’re the ones funding cops!’ he then yelled.
‘We’re the ones funding these things,’ Biden added.
Biden hammered his ‘predecessor’ – instead of saying Trump’s name – and Congressional Republicans for being opposed to Democrats’ crackdown on ghost guns, as they say that violates the Second Amendment too.
‘Give me a break,’ Biden said. ‘If they got their way criminals could traffic guns and commit crimes.’
Vice President Kamala Harris recalled meeting the victim of a school shooting last week – though didn’t mention how she told Oprah Winfrey that as a gun owner, she’s shoot an intruder
‘They attack the FBI and want to abolish the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives. By the way, that’s written out,’ he added.
‘Folks you can’t be pro-law enforcement and be anti-FBI and ATF,’ Biden said to cheers.
Trump has complained about the FBI due to the bureau’s 2016 Russia investigation, which he called a ‘hoax,’ and the August 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago, to retreive classified documents the ex-president took from the White House.
Harris spoke prior to Biden at the East Room event – attended by former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was nearly killed in a 2011 assassination attempt, and Georgia Rep. Lucy McBath, whose son was shot and killed for playing his music too loud.
She spoke about her meeting last week the a survivor of the recent Apalachee High School shooting – during her star-studded Michigan event with Oprah Winfrey.
‘Last week I met with a young leader, her name is Natalie,’ Harris recalled. ‘When we met Natalie was still wearing bandages and she is extraordinarily brave.’
‘So on behalf of her, on behalf of all the survivals, all the survivors that we have lost,’ the VP continued, bungling the delivery, ‘let us continue to fight to end the epidemic of gun violence.’
What Harris didn’t mention in front of the White House crowd – as nearly every member of the audience raised their hand to say they had lost someone from gun violence – was the pronouncement she made last week: that she would shoot an intruder dead.
‘If somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot,’ she told Winfrey.
‘I probably should not have said that. My staff will deal with that later,’ the Democratic nominee added.
