Bruce Lee trained his son Brandon Lee in martial arts from a young age. Bruce instilled in Brandon the fundamentals of Jeet Kune Do, the martial art and philosophy Bruce himself developed. However, Bruce Lee died when Brandon was only eight years old, so Brandon’s formal training with his father was limited by Bruce’s early death.
After Bruce’s passing, Brandon continued his martial arts training with some of Bruce’s students, including Dan Inosanto, who was one of Bruce’s top protégés. Brandon also studied a variety of other martial arts styles and later incorporated these skills into his film work as an actor and martial artist.
Brandon Lee’s career in action films, particularly his performance in The Crow, showcased his martial arts abilities, a legacy he carried forward from his father’s influence.
