Footage has resurfaced from a 2023 town hall event hosted by Rep. Alexandra Ocasio (D-NY), where even her constituents in the Democratic stronghold of New York City were fed up with her antics.  The voters that the progressive “Squad” member represents called her out on various issues, such as the war in Ukraine and the ensuing migrant crisis.

One man shouted at AOC as he was being escorted out of the event, “Where are you on the migrant issue, you’re absent…where are you – you’re a piece of s***!”  Another man further slammed Ocasio Cortez for voting in support of sending billions in U.S. tax dollars to fund the ongoing war in Ukraine.  “100 billion for Ukraine that you voted for!” he said.

One angry woman yelled, “It’s not okay! Are you going to stop this war!”  Another constituent shouted, “Stop funding this way!” before adding, “There’s a lot of communities that need help and need that money!”  AOC has faced substantial backlash at many of her public engagements over the past several years, where her constituents have called her out on her stances.

The American Tribune reported on a recent incident in which hecklers shouted down AOC at a disastrous 2022 town hall event based on her foreign policy stances.  Several people blasted the congressman for not standing up like Tulsi Gabbard, who left the Democratic Party over such stances incongruent with her beliefs.

“Congresswoman, none of this matters unless there’s a nuclear war, which you voted to send arms and weapons to Ukraine.”  The individual praised former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard for leaving the party in protest of these actions.  “Tulsi Gabbard, she’s left the Democratic Party because they’re a bunch of war hawks,” one heckler said.

The individual further pressed AOC, ”You originally voted, you ran as an outsider, yet you’ve been, you’re voting to start a third nuclear war with Russia and China.  Why are you playing with the lives of American citizens?”

Another protestor called out AOC over her support for the billions in Ukraine funding. “No neighbors if there’s a nuclear bomb, you voted to mobilize and send money to Ukrainian Nazis. You’re a coward. You’re a progressive socialist. Where are you against the war mobilization? He’s telling the right truth. You have done nothing,” they said. The individual also praised Tulsi Gabbard for having the “guts” to leave the Democratic Party because of its warped platform.  “Tulsi Gabbard, has shown guts where you’ve shown cowardice. I believed in you, and you became the very thing you sought to fought against,” he said.

Many have claimed that AOC has become part of the establishment, the very thing she ran against and sought to oppose.  “That’s what you’ve become. You are the establishment, and you are the reason why everybody will end up in a nuclear war unless you choose to stand up right now and denounce the Democratic Party. Will you do that, yes or no.. Simple. Are you going to stop nuclear war, yes or no,” she said.
